Senior Projects

We have been very lucky to have been contacted by seniors in both High School and College who would like to use our non-profit as their senior project focus.  These students will work with us to create their own projects with S.t.N as their mentor.

  • Amylia Castillo:  I am a senior and Running Start student at Mt. Rainier High School. My goal for this project is to bring awareness to this under publicized need for help and comfort for young children; I am going to have a drive at my school to help collect donations to put together as many bags as I can. My future goal is to become a registered nurse and work at children’s hospital either in neonatal intensive care or pediatric oncology.
  •

  • Katy Marie Conover: a student at Davenport High School is working on her Senior project with us as well.“My goal for working with Survive the Night is to help children who are desperate and don't have the things that we do. I hope to maybe someday in the future run my own charity, one that helps not only children but women also.”

  • Melissa Moyer is a Graphic Design Senior at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  She will be working with us during the Fall 2009 Semester.  Keep checking back for more details on her project.

  • Justin Dugas is an Advanced Placement Art student at King’s High School in Seattle, WA.  He has enjoyed drawing, music, and anything creative since taking his first steps.  His goal is to attend art college and ultimately be an artist in the video gaming industry. He is currently working on a project to create a coloring book that we will use as a fundraiser to promote S.t.N.

  • Christina Lange is a senior at Eastern Washington University.  She will be graduating in June with her BA in Children’s studies.  For her senior capstone project she is helping survive the night.  For her project she wants to get her community in Bremerton, WA involved with survive the night by going to high schools to tell them about survive the night.  Her main goal for her project is, to raise funds for survive the night.  She plans on doing this by hosting a benefit concert in her community.
